What is Real World 2.0?
Real World 2.0 is a two-day, interactive event designed to help prepare young people for life in the “real world.”
What is the age range?
You must be between the ages of 16-26.
Does it cost to attend?
Real World 2.0 is free for participants.
If I apply, am I automatically selected?
If you decide to apply, there is no guarantee that you will be accepted due to the limited spots.
How do I know if I am selected?
Applicants will be notified of their selection to the Real World 2.0 program by June 13th.
What is an Adult Supporter?
An Adult supporter is someone responsible for a youth participant and serves as their chaperone throughout the duration of the program. An adult supporter could be a social worker, group home staff, parent/guardian, etc.
Will I require an Adult Supporter?
Youth participants who require an adult supporter include: (a) youth who are in the care and custody of an agency or group home and, (b) youth who are between the ages of 16-17.
Will we stay in a hotel?
Yes, Real World 2.0 is an overnight event and hotel lodging and meals will be provided.
